Starcrawler are a young band who hail from LA; the oldest member is 22 while the youngest is still in high school. Hotly tipped for stardom, this exciting rock ‘n’ roll band are on the rise. Members Tim Franco 22 (on bass), Austin Smith 20 (on drums), Henri Cash 16 (on guitar) and Arrow de Wilde 18 (on vocals) produce a kind of rock-glam-punk 70’s sound that could be a mash up of bands like T-Rex, The Ramones and Black sabbath.
Their stage performances are dynamic, particularly Arrow de Wilde who spends her time contorting, sneering and regurgitating fake blood on herself most likely influenced by her hero Ozzy Osbourne. Their debut single ‘Ants,’ released in 2017 with a limited edition of 500 on red and white splatter vinyl and a picture sleeve, sold out very quickly. Their debut album entitled ‘Starcrawler,’ was released in early 2018 via Rough Trade. They have recently started their European tour which runs from May 30 to 23 June, and will be performing in countries including: Spain, Portugal, Germany, France and the UK. They play this Wednesday at The Garage in Islington.
