There isn’t a great deal you can say after listening to Stuart A. Staples’ new single ‘A New Real’ other than ‘Wow!’ In just over five minutes it skitters and skews along, first, second and third guessing you all along. And when it gets to its final destination, like the accompanying video, you aren’t really sure how you ended up there, or where even is for that matter. All of this is irrelevant. All that matters ‘A New Real’ is a glitchy, hypnotic and experimental load of wonderfulness!
