OTHERKIN

Fresh from touring with The Amazons, OTHERKIN have announced a new UK tour, ahead of a new live vinyl album which captures the band in all their raw ‘n’ ragged concert glory.

Grunge Pop, four piece band OTHERKIN are an Irish band from Dublin formed in 2014 consisting of: Luke Reilly (vocals/guitar), Conor Andrew Wynne (guitar), David Anthony (bass) and Rob Summons (drums); they were united by their love of bands The Clash, Ramones and Blur. They started off playing intimate house parties before stepping it up and playing festivals within Ireland. Initially they made and independently released their tracks they managed to catch the eye of Irish indie label Rubyworks in 2015. OTHERKIN’s first U.K Festival was the iconic Reading and Leeds. The band built up support with multiple festival spots in the UK, Holland, France and Germany in summer 2016. They wrapped up their summer with a high-profile slot supporting the Red Hot Chili Peppers at a massive open-air concert in Belfast.

2017 was a landmark year for OTHERKIN. They were luck enough to have opened for Guns ‘N’ Roses at Slane Castle, rocked Download and Reading & Leeds festivals and toured with punk rock legends,The Dead Kennedys. They released their debut album ‘OK‘ in September. This was immediately followed by an epic fifty-one gigs in seventeen European Countries before ending the year with a sold out, homecoming show at Dublin’s Button Factory.

Now they’re on their U.K. tour and are heading to London today for their gig which was moved from Camden Assembly to The Garage due to having a bigger capacity to hold all of their fans. They’ll be ending their tour tomorrow in Birmingham.
