If you haven’t hear of Jessie Reyez yet you need to get to know. She has such a soulful voice and she’s an absolute ray of sunshine.
She’d already released the song ‘Figures’ but she decided to do a new version featuring Daniel Caesar. This song is very calming and chill but still has a meaning behind it. ‘Figures a Reprise‘ is about the demise of a relationship. I prefer this version of the song because Daniel’s voice fits so nicely like a puzzle piece that you’ve spent ages looking for.
Jessie reminds me of a mix of Amy Winehouse and Adele. I would love her to blow up and get given all the recognition she deserves.
