Sex Pissed Dolls (SPD) are an all girl rock band from Blackpool who exploding onto the scene in late 2014. The band consists of: Nancy Doll (vocals), Kitty Vacant (guitar), Connie Rotter (guitar), Jilly Idol (bass guitar) and Anna Key (drums). They are signed to Dolls Discs.
The girls have been in demand and have played main stage Isle Of Wight Festival in 2017, we’re personally invited to perform at The Formula One British Grand Prix and have headlined many other festivals appearing with names like: Rod Stewart, Razorlight, Adam Ant, The Pretenders and The Damned to name but a few.
The girls are aiming to film a music video for their song ‘Maniac‘ this year which was produced by Steve Brown who has worked with the likes of the Manic Street Preachers, The Cult and George Michael. They also are down to be part of a film that is still currently being scripted about what it’s like to be a girl band in a male dominated music industry; there is not set release day as of yet but when we know you’ll be the first to know too.
Following their huge success with their ‘Daughters of Anarchy‘ tour, they are set to play a number of U.K. dates early 2018, before appearing at several festivals in the U.K. and Europe. Luckily enough, we will be seeing the SPD on the 7th April at the 100 Club, Oxford St. Unfortunately, tickets for this event are sold out due to their popularity but if you can, make sure you catch them at some point this year!
